    Life in NYC

I’ve lived in a variety of places, but have called NYC home for the last few years.  Although, the winters are bit tough on me, brrr…

    LISTENING TO

You can often find me strolling around NYC with my earbuds in listening to podcasts. A few of my non-technical favs are The Tim Ferriss Show, Unlearn with Barry O’Reilly, Big Questions Cal Fussman. I’ve got many AI data related favs too, too many to name!

      WATCHINGTelevision

Most days you can often find me following sports, particularily during football season.  Go Niners!

    Bookshelf.  READING

While most of my reading is more informational, I have a couple of inspirational ones to.  Currently on my list of favs is Run Towards the Danger by Sarah Polley.

    Central park .  Hanging out

When I’m not strolling the city, you can also often find me at cafes and parks reading or just changing up my environment and scenery while working.

    Career

While the early half of my life was driven by wireless and embedded systems technology, the latter half of my career has been enabled by Innovation, Strategy, Data and AI/Machine Intelligence.

    EMPLOYMENT
    BEYOND LIMITS – CTO OFFICE

I was most recently currently employed with Beyond Limits, focusing on AI Strategy, ML Systems Design & Architecture, Partnerships, and Solutions, within their CTO Office. Beyond limits spun out of NASA Reasoning Labs in 2014.

    READING
    AI STRATEGY

I’m often reading different parts of books simultaneously.  Currently I’m reading “A New Way to Think” by Roger Martin, and “Fail Fast. Learn Faster” by Randy Bean.

    WRITING & SPEAKING
    ARTICLES & CONFERENCES

I often write articles and deliver conference speaking engagements related to AI, often more strategic.

I also recently joined the AI/ML Advisory Board for DevNetwork Conferences.

    CONTRIBUTING
    RESPONSIBLE AI

I am also reviewing, editing books and proposals for leading media publishers (Packt, Manning) on AI Fairness and Interpretability as part of the Responsible AI umbrella.
